Hotdogs and grass and the warm smell of old paint on the picnic table, methodically flaking itself off over the years. I help by picking it off.
Departing from the group, on a small exploration, we discover beautiful purple berries, winking at us in the sun, looking deadly and delicious.
Upon our return there was much yelling, and suddenly we were lying face down on the picnic table, heads over the edge, bodies heaving and watching the hotdogs and cake and purple berries leave us, violently staining the lawn.
